During long-term operation of pipelines, a large number of deposits of various kinds (residues of petroleum products, etc.) can form on their inner surface. This makes it difficult to pump oil and petroleum products, which increases energy costs. In oil pipelines, bacteria also accumulate, which in the course of their life produce silt that settles in the pipes.
PGMG-hydrochloride is not an oxidizer, it does not cause corrosion, but, due to its biocidal properties, it is able to destroy a wide range of microorganisms that live on the inner and outer surfaces of oil pipeline pipes and adversely affect metals. In addition, products based on PGMG-hydrochloride prevent the development and reproduction of bacteria, fungi and other biological microorganisms.
The product based on PGMG-hydrochloride is added as an additive to oil, which helps to destroy bacterial accumulations on the inner surface of the pipes, and, consequently, eliminates the cause of silt formation in them.
