Products based on PGMG-hydrochloride are successfully used in the petrochemical industry to clean pipes from deposits caused by bacteria, to protect oil pipelines from biocorrosion, and to clean oil pipeline pipes from deposits.

During long-term operation of pipelines, a large number of deposits of various kinds (residues of petroleum products, etc.) can form on their inner surface. This makes it difficult to pump oil and petroleum products, which increases energy costs. In oil pipelines, bacteria also accumulate, which in the course of their life produce silt that settles in the pipes.

Advantages of PHMG-hydrochloride-based products in the fight againts biocorrosion

• remain their biocidal properties and performance over a wide temperature range (from negative to +120°C°)
• do not decompose and can be used in almost any climate and weather conditions
• keep the effect from 3 to 8 months (depending on the materials on which they are applied, and environmental conditions)
• they are not an oxidizer and do not harm metals, do not cause corrosion
• they have high chemical stability and do not react with other chemicals

• create a polymer film that does not allow bacteria to develop
