Experts tested the disinfectant properties of several dozen different substances, including chlorine-containing and alcohol-containing disinfectants, disinfectants based on Quaternary ammonium compounds and tertiary amines.
“Ethyl and isopropyl alcohols, even at a concentration of 30%, can destroy up to a million viral particles in 30 seconds. Chlorine-containing disinfectants have the same effectiveness: they completely disinfect the surface within a few tens of seconds. Disinfectants based on tertiary and Quaternary amines lead to the loss of viability of the coronavirus within a few minutes,” the Ministry said in a statement.
